5/27 Szombat/Saturnday
Később keltem mint szoktam és rájöttem, hogy este nem töltött semmit a telefonom mert a csatlakozója telement porral meg mindennel a zsebemből, így a laptopomról kinéztem, hogy hol van az almás telefontbolt és ott kitisztíttattam, még szerencse, hogy nyitva voltak a hétvégén is. Majd az egyik helyi kávé pörkölőben ettem reggelit vagy mit, így kora délután :D Majd megnéztem a Victoria Markets ami egy irdatlan nagy étel és ruha meg minden piac és bőven el lehet benne tévedni olyan nagy de mindenképpen érdemes megnézni. Majd később elmentem az Albert Parkba ahol sok éven keresztül kezdődött a Forma1-es szezon és végig sétáltam a kört ami eléggé hosszú és a végén meg néztem a Paddock-ot is, ami az a épület ahol a garázsok vannak a verseny hétvégén. Majd visszamentem a szállásra és megterveztem a holnapi napomat amikor is kettő borászathoz terveztem elmenni Geelong borvidékre. A borvidékekről és az élményekről majd külön is írok. Este meg ettem egy pizzát a környéken.
I woke up later as normal and I figured that my phone is dead and I can’t charge it because the lightning jion was full of dust and leftovers from the harvest. So I searched on may computer the nearest Apple store to solve this. My drawn leed me to the store where they were able to fix it and put some charge to my phone. Then I went to have some food at a local caffe roaster called Axil. Of course it was in the afternoon :D Then I went to Victoria Markets which is an enourmous food, clothes and vintage market sometimes open at night time. You can get lost easily but I think you should visit it. Then I went to check out The F1 track of Albert Park, which is in a huge park. The park has a lot of ovals (Australian football field) concerthalls, swimming pool and a lake in the middle. It takes at least 45-50 mins to get around the lap. At the end you can see the paddock, the building where the garages and the teams are located during race weekends. Than I returned to my accommandation to figure out tomorrows trip to Geelong Wine region. After I checked the scheldues and wrote out the buses that I had to catch. As an end to my day I had a pizza at a local restaurant. You’ll find my notes about the wines in a different article.
5/28 Vasárnap/Sunday, Geelong
8:19 Vonaton voltam a városba itt kitérek a csodálatos tömegközlekedésre Melbourneben.
Úgy működik, hogy valamelyik irányból elindulsz vonattal a belváros fele. én Toroonga Állomásról indultam és a vonatra az volt kiírva, hogy csak a Filders street-ig megy. Na ott figyelni kell, hogy vissza indul-e az adott szerelvény vagy nem. Ha nem akkor elindul a City Loop-ra azaz a belvárosban lévő 4-5 nagy állomás mindegyikén megáll és úgy megy majd tovább. Én nagyrészt mindig a Soutern cross-ig mentem és szinte mindig ment tovább a vonat. Ez egy zseniális találmány. a térkép remélem jobban szemlélteti. Vissza az utazáshoz
9:10 már a reggelimet beszereztem és fent voltam a Geelong-ba tartó vonaton.
10:13 Geelong megérkezés egy kicsit sétáltam meg ittam egy kávét

Majd haza fele televolt a vonat ausztrál foci drukkerekkel aki a meccsről érkeztek.
Este meg kóstoltam a Domino’s pizzát ami hát az amerikai stílusú és vastagtésztás pizza de meglepően ízletes volt.A Borkostolókról a Yarra Vallley-i napnál található leírás.
8:19 I was on the train to catch the train which goes to the center. I’ll stop for a minute to explain the public transport system of Melbourne.
So if you don’t live inside the city center you can catch it from somewhere. My stop was Toroonga, so from there the train took me to Flinders street and there I got out and see if the train goes through the City Loop or terminates there. If it goes to the City Loop it means that it stops at all stations around the downtown if not you have to change. In most cases it goes further. I mostly got off at Southern Cross which is the main train station. Also the Myki pass is good in the whole state of Victoria and there’s a daily limit and if you reach it they won’t charge you further for that day. I attach a map so it helps the understanding.
9:10 I got my breakfast and I was already on the train to Geelong.
10:13 I arrived and had a bit of free time so I stopped for a cafe with Groot

The train when I arrived to Southern Cross was full of Footy fans cuz Collingwood was playing. Later on I tried Domino’s pizza which is not as bad as its reputation but it’s the american style. I explained the tasting at the day when I was in Yarra Valley.
5/29 Hétfő/Monday
Reggel szépen el készülődtem de mivel tudtam, hogy 10 fele kell csak beérjek a városba az olasz barátomért ezért nagyon lazára vettem. Viszont az élet közbeszólt mert a villamos random úgy döntött, hogy elmegy a kocsiszínbe (gyermekkori nevén villamos altatóba) amikor megérkeztem hasonló volt. Ja és mivel olyan 200 méterenként vannak villamos megállók ezért úgy kell inteni a vezetőnek, hogy álljon meg. Ja és a külső részeken nincsen megálló csak megáll a villamos az út közepén és remélhetőleg a külső sávban a gépjárművek is megállnak és nem csapják el a fel és le szálló utasokat.
Majd olyan 10:30 fele találkoztam is a barátommal. Császkáltunk egyet meg reggeliztünk. Megnéztük az Szent Pál katedrális meg egy kicsit a botanikus kertet, ahol van egy koncert helyiség olyan mint a Hollywood Bowl. Meg a parlamentbe is gondoltuk be megyünk de nem volt időnk, mert egy borászattal volt állásinterjún és vissza akartam érni rá a szállásra. Este elmentünk egy koreai étterembe vacsizni a belvárosba. Utána még egy kicsit sétáltunk és megnéztük a kaszinót belülről. Itt a sportfogadás meg a szerencsejáték eléggé elterjedt.
I took the morning easy because my friend from Italy should arrive around 10 to Southern Cross. But on my way the tram without any notice took a turn to the tram shed. Also about the trams and the buses, since in the suburbs there’s not separated tram stops you have to wave at the driver and it stops in the middle of the road and the passengers can get on and off, and hopefully the cars won’t run them over.
Get back to the story. We met around 10:30 and had a bit of a walk and breakfast. We checked the St Paul Cathedral and the botanical garden, where they have a concert hall similar to Hollywood bowl.We tried to get inside the parliament but on the other days they had sittings.I had to return for a job interview so we didn’t go inside the Parlaiment. Then we headed back downtown to have a Korean dinner which was awesome. The city has a small koreatown. After that we checked out the Casino which is huge, at least as big as a shopping mall but it is higher. You can bet on everything and spend a lot of gambling. I think that system comes from Britain.
5/30 Kedd/Tuesday, Yarra Valley
Ezen a napon egy újabb borvidékre vitt minket a sors. Ez az egyik leghíresebb a Yarra völgy. Valamiért nagyon nem turista barátan van megoldva a kijutás ide mivel a vonat megállótól ahonnan megy a busz valamiért a busz mindig a vonat érkezése előtt 5 perccel megy el. Ebből kifolyólag sikerült 1 órát várni a buszra. A Payten and Jones- hoz mentünk el de hát annyira nem tetszettek a borok egyikünknek sem. Majd elmentünk az utca túloldalán lévő Gin lepárlóba is egyet kóstolni és mint megtudtuk, úgy kell ezt kóstolni, hogy a nyelveden hagyod néhány másodpercig és csak utána nyeled le. Majd este bementünk a belvárosba megpróbáltunk egy hamburgerest keresni és végül is a Betty’s burgerre esett a választás ami az árához képest korrekt volt. Meg találtunk egy romkocsmát a felhőkarcolók között ami tök menő volt. Chuckle Park bar a neve. A borkostolókról a nap végi linken olvashatok.
On this day we headed to another wine region. This one is called Yarra Valley and quite famous. I would recommend to get a car because it is quite hard to get there. We took the train to Lilydale and the bus which would take us to the winery had left just 5 minutes before. So we had to wait till the next one but in this neighborhood there’s mostly industrial buildings which are not so interesting. We had a tasting at Payten and Jones but we weren’t really impressed by the wines, I attach the Link here. Then we crossed the street to have a tasting at a Gin distillery called Four Pillars. You have to taste the gin while holding it on your tongue for 5-10 seconds to let the alcohol evaporate then swallow it. After we returned to the city we headed downtown to have a burger. Most places were MT (empty) so we decided to go to Betty’s burger which is a franchise. It was a good value for its price and right after our order a lot of people showed up to have dinner there. Later we found an absolutely amazing small quiet bar between the skyscrapers. It is called Chuckle Park bar and you should visit it if you happen to be there. 5/31 Szerda /Wednesday
Reggel egy kicsit később keltünk de aztán elindultunk St. Kilda fele ahol reggeliztünk egyet az Abbey Road Cafe-ban ami olyan mint egy Hard Rock Cafe csak igazából egy étterem/bár és nem túl misztifikált helység. Majd ott a környéket megnéztük ami tök szép meg a elmentünk az F1 paddock-ba. Aztán elmentünk Brighton Beach-re ahol ilyen kis színes házikók vannak amiket ki lehet bérelni természetesen csak amikor jó idő van. Majd a szállásra visszafelé menet még megálltunk az Osmond kilátónál és pont elkaptuk a naplementét mert amikor odaértünk akkor fújta el a felhőket felőlünk a légmozgás. Majd este a barátomnak az egyik ismerősénél vacsorázunk akinek egy nagyon fine dining olasz étterme van és hát csodálatosak voltak az ételek. Valószínűleg az életem legjobb Gnocchi-át itt ettem. Ja degusztációs menüt ettünk és utána még beszéltünk egy kicsit a szakácsokkal. Buono az étteremnek a neve érdemes megnézni.
We started our day a bit later but afterwards we headed to St. Kilda neighborhood where we had our huge breakfast at Abbey Road Cafe which looks like a Hard Rock Cafe but it is not too fancy and you can’t buy T-shirts. If you want to see pianos and a drum set hanging from the ceiling come here. St. Kilda is really nice and worth a look. Then we headed to the F1 Paddock, which I've already described before. Then we saw the small cabins at Brighton Beach. There’s around 80 of them and all of them have a different color or a symbol and during summer they can be rented. As we catched the bus to return to the accommodation we stopped at Osmond lookout to catch the sunset. We arrived just in time because the clouds were moving away and we saw the sun setting over Melbourne. As for dinner, my friend already arranged something at his friend's restaurant, It’s called Buono. The degustation dinner was stunning, it is hard to describe it. The Gnocchi was probably the best that I ever ate. After dinner we had a chat with the chefs too.
6/1 Csütörtök/Thursday
Reggel összepakoltuk a cuccainkat majd elmentünk a Victoria Markets-et megnézni mert a barátom még nem volt ott, de előtte még ettünk reggelit az Axil Roaster-nél. Van egy villamos ami a belvárosban köröz, na azzal elmentünk a könyvtárat megnézni mivel van egy-két érdekes terme meg kupolája. Majd egy kicsit bementünk a botanikus kertbe körül nézni aztán meg irány a vonatállomás vagy a reptér.
Majd 17:25-os vonattal mentem el olyan 7 fele meg is érkeztem Bendigo-ba. A vacsi megint exkluzívra sikerült a Dispensary nevű helyre ültem be ahol egy Bao batyut ettem meg utána meg cukkini virágot hússal megtöltve chilis narancs olajjal leöntve. Majd még sétáltam egyet és mint kiderült egy metálba játszik a szomszédban de hát eléggé drága volt a beugró így nem mentem el. Hanem inkább meg pihentem a hátizsákos turistáknak kialakított szállásomon ami hát inkább volt hotel mint hostel.D
In the morning we packed our stuff, Then we wanted to check out Victoria Markets cuz my friend hasn’t been there. But first we stopped at Axil Roaster for some food. We even discovered some parts of it which has book stores and photographs too. After that, we took the tram which circulates inside the city to check out the dome of the library and another interesting room. Later we headed to see the rest of the botanical garden because we hadn't really seen the garden part of it but we didn’t have that much time. Then we got our baggage and headed to Southern Cross.
I got on the train leaving at 17:25 and my friend went to the airport. Before we were able to get on the train with doors wide open there was an announcement NOT to get on the train until further notice, and the passengers stayed on the platform. I couldn’t really imagine that this would happen in Hungary. I arrived around 7 PM in Bendigo. The dinner turned out to be a fancy one again. I Had my dinner at the Dispensary. The first course was a filled Bao, the second was a zucchini flower filled with meat with orange oil which had a hint of chilly. The waiter was really helpful and wrote a note of the wineries around. Then I took a walk and found a bar where a metal band was playing but the ticket was way too expensive so I just had a drink then I called my family on my way back. My place was the backpackers hostel which was the cheapest one but it was more like a hotel.
